Edinburgh 2014

This year I’m doing my second solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe. I think it’s a really big step up and I’m very proud of the show, so I can’t wait to start performing it on August 2nd. I will also have two other limited run shows during the Fringe and both will be a lot of fun – a Natural Disasters film night at midnight on August 8th, 15th and 22nd AND a Comedy Roast with Matt Winning at 1130pm on August 6th, 13th and 20th. What’s best about this year is that every show I’m doing is in my favourite PBH Free Fringe venue: The Banshee Labyrinth. It would be great to have friendly audiences there so if you’re going to Edinburgh, perhaps carve an hour gap into your diary and come and see my show.

Stuart Laws. When’s this gonna stop? (1hr show)

PBH Free Fringe
The Banshee Labyrinth (Venue 156)
29-35 Niddry Street, EH1 1LG
August 2nd – 23rd (not 12th or 19th)
Time – 14:20

“very funny”
The New York Post

“laughs come thick and fast…definitely one to watch”

An energetic and compelling master of audience interaction, Stuart’s spontaneous performances see him creating a perversely endearing air of comedic chaos in a show with catchphrases, lebkuchen, helium, gibbons, Billy Joel, volcanoes, spiders and Donnie Darko.

Stuart is a comedian and director who runs Turtle Canyon Comedy and has made films and developed TV with Julia Davis, Daniel Simonsen, Nick Helm, Jessie Cave and the sketch act Toby. In 2013 he debuted his first stand-up show at the Edinburgh Fringe, was James Acaster’s tour support, performed in Colin Hoult’s Real Horror Show at The Assembly Rooms. His films have been won and been nominated for awards worldwide, have been written about on all major UK comedy sites and featured by international press and websites such as Upworthy, The Poke, The Evening Standard and The Daily Mirror.

“He engages with people masterfully and the whole thing feels impulsive and original”

Gorilla Film Magazine

Natural Disasters Film Night (MIDNIGHT 8th,15th,22nd August):
